Richard brings a rare combination of AI depth and educational experience. With an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh and hands-on experience inside a fast-growing ClimateTech startup, he speaks the language of both technical and non-technical teams – equally comfortable with those experienced with AI and those just getting started. He has spent years advising and delivering entrepreneurship training for early-stage founders at Edinburgh Innovations, and is now putting everything he knows about AI, responsible AI, and organisational culture into practical, people-first training at MantaRAI.

Behavioural Scientist
Shiyu brings a practical, human‑centred perspective to the intersection of people and technology, grounded in behavioural science. With an MA in Behavioural Science (Research Methods) from Durham University and experience managing complex, high‑pressure projects, she focuses on identifying and reducing the psychological friction that slows or blocks tech adoption. She's worked across large organisations undergoing significant change, specialising in turning behavioural theories into actionable insights for AI‑driven teams. She applies rigorous, evidence‑informed methods to help MantaRAI design training and solutions that people can understand, adopt, and sustain.
